Fixation Toys

   One of our best-known pediatric ophthalmology teachers, Dr. Arthur Jampolsky, once noted that, when observing children, "One toy equals one look." We usually need lots of looks - so we need lots of different toys to maintain children's interest during the exam. I try to stay current, but you will note that I am short on Pokemon, Rug Rats, and Tele-Tubbies right now. I'll work on this the next time I visit a toy store!
