Eye Information Gateway
This section has two parts, a links page to sites containing general information as well as a more directed topics section providing detailed information about specific conditions. I have reviewed all of these pages, and I check for updates periodically. Site URL's change from time to time as pages are moved or deleted by authors. If you find that a link is consistently "dead," please send an e-mail to me so I can search for an alternative information resource.
I use the Google search engine to find and review most on-line information. All of the the topics have alternative pages which you can explore using Google or any other search engine. Simply copy the topic title (i.e., "accommodative esotropia") into the Google search frame and explore the sites which are listed. I have chosen sites which appear to provide information which is authoritative and appropriately detailed, including diagrams or photographs if available. Some of the sites are targeted more for physicians than patients, but you will almost certainly find helpful information even if the article appears difficult when read initially.
Disclaimer
Remember that all of these sites are providing information for reference only. If you have questions after reviewing any of these sources, you should contact me (or your own physician if you are "visiting" this page and are not a patient in my practice). On-line medical information should never be used as a substitute for direct, face-to-face physician diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
